This intriguing kinetic sculpture hangs in the rotunda of Chabot Space & Science Center in Oakland, CA. Created by artist Reuben Margolin, the cardboard tubes of “Hexagonal Wave” slowly ripple outward in concentric circles, demonstrating how a wave propagates through space.
